Meet our team of care professionals

Clare Armstong
Director

Clare Armstrong is director of Bluebird Care Warrington, alongside heading up the Compliance, Quality and Legislation of the company. Clare is also a director of Bluebird Care St Helens, and has a wealth of knowledge in the Care Industry, and running a business.

Clare joined Bluebird Care St Helens in May 2015 and has since successfully navigated through roles and broadened her experience in the sector. Starting out as the Coordinator, Clare showed the enthusiasm and passion to progress through from Supervisor, Operations Manager, and ultimately to Managing Director in 2018. The natural next step for Clare was to work with Jan to succesfully broaden their franchise to the Warrington area. 

 With a background in accountancy, Clare is meticulous in ensuring the highest quality of organisation and compliance are met and delivers this out to the team.

Clare has a clear drive to always learn and know as much as she possibly can - a trait that has led to her recent completion of her NVQ Level 5 Qualification in Health and Social Care.

Clare is an integral asset to the business. She has a fantastic understanding of the care sector and is constantly ensuring we are meeting both the customers, and staff needs.

Hayley Allen
Registered Care Manager

Hayley is a director of Bluebird Care Warrington, and is also a dedicated Registered Care Manager.  Hayley is an asset to the business, and has extremely high values and standards as to delivery excellent quality care in peoples homes.  

Hayley has held a number of positions with Bluebird Care since joining the St Helens branch in late 2016. She quickly progressed to the supervisor role in May 2017 after displaying a hardworking and dedicated attitude. In October 2017, Hayley was promoted to the role of coordinator and is keen to provide the highest standard of care to our customers while focusing on continuity as an important factor.

Hayley has all the characteristics required to be approachable as a manager, whilst always still maintaining the standards expected by Bluebird Care. 

Hayley is currently working towards a Chartered Management Institute Certificate in Principles of Management and Leadership and her ambitios and career driven personality is exactly what is needed to succeed.

 

Caitlin Bradley
Training and Staff Development Manager

Caitlin joined Bluebird Care in the Summer of 2018 after successful completion of a degree in Social Policy. A start that served her well when the opportunity arose for a promotion to Supervisor.

Caitlin continued to show promise, and with such an approachable demeanour was the perfect candidate to apply for the Training Manager role when the business restructure occurred. With an AET Qualification now firmly under her belt, Caitlin trains all our staff, and ensures she herself is always fully up to date when it comes to any advancements in the area and how things should be done. Caitlin is a fantastic member of the team and always has a smile on her face ready to greet our new inductees, and we couldn’t think of anyone better to be the person to introduce new staff to the Bluebird Cares way of working striving for high quality, well trained carers!

Jan Walsh
Financial Director

Jan established Bluebird Care St Helens back in 2014 after realising that there was a need for more professional and high-quality services than what was currently available. Jan is passionate about providing the highest quality of domiciliary care in the borough and understands just what it takes to do so.

Jan is dedicated not only to our customers but also the staff of Bluebird Care. Jan has a huge focus on mentoring and supporting individuals with their development through the company. Jan strongly supports those individuals to become the best possible versions of themselves and Bluebird Care is a fantastic example of how staff from all abilities and ages can progress and develop in their careers in social care.

With a background in accountancy, lending invaluable support to local businesses, Jan is sensitive for the need to provide cost effective in-home personalised care for your loved ones, whilst never compromising on standards.

A dedicated family woman sympathetic to the needs of others, Jan motivates the company to deliver on Bluebird Cares promise of “Good Old-Fashioned Service” at all times. This ethos has allowed the company to grow, and Bluebird Care Warrington was opened in 2019.

Bradley Armstrong
Care Coordinator

Brad joined Bluebird Care Warrington in the summer of 2021 and since then has developed a vast amount of knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the industry. Brad is responsible for ensuring our customers get their visits on time and with a familiar smiling face each and every day. He is often the first voice you will hear when you call us up! 

Keen to continue learning and how he can progress in his role, Brad is now in the process of completing his Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and looks forward to a bright future at Bluebird Care ensuring our customers receive only the highest quality of care across the borough.

Debby Owen
Supervisor

Debby began her career with Bluebird Care St Helens back in Summer 2016 and has since been an invaluable team member. Her passion for the company has led to her developing a vast amount of knowledge and her taking on a number of roles during her time with us.

Deborah is a bubbly team member and a customer favourite as she is never seen without a smile on her face. This meant that the supervisor position in Warrington was perfect for Debby and this is what she excels at.

Debby has the winning combination of the right character and attitude, in order to supervise the staff to the highest of levels, whilst still being approachable and understanding of their needs.
