Meet our team of care professionals

Mel
Care Manager

Having worked in roles from Care Assistant to NVQ Assessor and over 15 years experience in healthcare, Mel brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Maidstone Bluebird Care Team.

Mel's childhood dream was to become a nurse however after starting a family, she made the decision to pursue a career in healthcare as a carer and has never looked back.

She firmly believes in career development and has a number of qualifications including an NVQ 2 & 3 in Health & Social Care along with NVQ Assessor and QA awards.

In her spare time, Mel fills her hours playing mum to two wonderful children!

Marie
Care Supervisor

Marie joined us at Bluebird Care with a wealth of experience in health & social care spanning over 30 years.  Experienced in working in residential care, respite and dementia as well as an interesting number of years working in forensic mental health care.

Marie is always ready to welcome you with a cheerful smile and her naturally caring nature shines through in everything she does.

A very proud grandmother, when Marie is not busy at work she loves spending time with her family and as a keen crafter you can find here making beautiful gifts and crafts with her family.

Zoe
Operations Manager

Zoe worked as an Activities Coordinator and studied a degree in law before joining the Bluebird Care Tonbridge & Tunbridge Wells team. Now as Operations Manager, Zoe is responsible for overseeing the outstanding service our staff provide to our customers.

She enjoys her role because of the way that she is able to work closely with our staff and takes great satisfaction from the development of her teams.

In particular, Zoe enjoys her role because of the way she knows that she is making a difference to the lives of our customers.

Tammie
Business Development Manager

Tammie has worked in Health and Social Care for almost 30 years, during this time she have been fortunate enough to work with some great people allowing her to develop and grow both personally and professionally.

A real ‘homebird’, you will normally find her in the kitchen cooking or baking, then on the sofa watching TV and enjoying her baked delights with her family!

Tammie is a proud rugby mum and you will be able to spot her at games, shouting from the side-lines ‘DRIVE IT’.

She is also a proud Mum of her two four legged friends Molly and Rolo, aswell as a cheeky Guinea pig called Charlie. With 3 boys in the house, she also spends alot of time re-stocking the kitchen!

Tammie is extremely passionate about providing the best care provision possible and is pleased to be a ‘Bluebird as well as a ‘homebird’!

Sue
Personal Assistant

Sue is at the heartbeat of our Bluebird Care Family

Her exceptionally strong administration background ensures she provides valuable support to the central team and helps free up time in order that our local teams can give a sustained focus to our customers and Care Assistants.

Sue is never without a smile and a caring hand to help anybody, whatever their needs.

Maria
Finance Officer

Maria works closely with our Finance Manager, ensuring the day to day operations of the finance department run smoothly.

Always on hand with a smile and an offer of help and support for the whole team.

Maria enjoys her spare time with her family, especially her four-legged family member who she enjoys lots of long walks with.
