About us

What makes our homecare services different? We value each person’s unique qualities and individualism, not as a list of care needs!

Bluebird Care Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft is led by a strong management team, with 24 hour support and contact available. We are members of the UKHCA. The Directors have many years of experience of working within the care sector, as well as our Registered Manager who has had a successful career in the care sector, teaching Health and Social Care and providing consultancy service to new providers.

All of our staff are required to undertake the Enhanced DBS check,  they complete the 15 standards of The Care Certificate and annually review the following training:

• Health and safety
• Fire prevention
• First aid and life support
• Infection control
• Food hygiene
• Safeguarding
• Moving and handling
• Medication management
• Challenging Behaviour
• Record Keeping
• Data Protection
• Communication

Our Health Care Assistants have individual continuous development plans with regular supervisions and appraisals to ensure that our care provision continues to meet CQC standards.

We provide training for the more complex needs, including Stoma Care, Peg Feed, Dementia, to name just a few specific areas..  We work closely with Surgeries,  GPs, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Physio Therapists and arrange for Continence Assessments as required.

We are passionate about the service we provide and delivering a quality service. We seek feedback from families as well as service users that feeds into our business plan and development process.

We work alongside families and individuals to tailor our services to help our customers stay in control of their own care for as long as they are able to. Delivering the very best homecare is our passion, and we strive to achieve this every day.

We offer flexible care services for you to choose from. These could be anything from a 30 minute visit up to 24/7 live in care, whilst some customers may want short term help during re-enablement.

There have been various carers looking after my mother.
They have all been cheerful, chatty, (Mum loves a natter), caring and obliging in their tasks.
Their main task is to help my mum with washing herself and apply medical lotions on her lower legs and feet.
They also check if she wants a hot drink or something to eat. I highly recommend the carers employed by Bluebird.
