One of our amazing care assistants, Gemma Gough, is taking to the skies and taking part in a sponsered skydive in aid of Carers in Bedfordshire. Heres what Gemma had to say:

“I signed up to take part in the skydive because it sounded like an amazing experience. A friend of mine did one recently for charity and told me how much she enjoyed it. I have never done anything like this before but I am really looking forward to this challenge and it’s the perfect excuse to raise money for Carers in Bedfordshire, Bluebird Care (Bedford’s) Charity of the Year. The work they do and the support they provide is amazing and so vital to our local community. In my role as a care assistant I meet family and informal carers all the time. I have seen how hard it can be sometimes to be that 24/7 support for a loved one and how important it is that Carers in Bedfordshire provide the support and services they do.
I am very proud to represent Bluebird Care (Bedford) by taking part in this skydive and I hope that you will help me to reach my £500 target for this fantastic cause.”
