Caring, respectful, compassionate, professional - simply the best.

I'm employed by them as a carer .The staff and management are a pleasure to work with,. Very supportive and professional team.I can fit my hours around my hectic life and school run as well. Free training and equipments provided .The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to talk to residents and learning about their pasts.

We wanted to send a message of thanks to the continuing care team, and also to Bluebird Care agency, for the very valuable support provided to our mother PT over the past few months following her diagnosis of advanced motor neurone disease. Mum passed away on 4 January. We are deeply saddened to have lost our wonderful mother, but have drawn some comfort that she was able to remain at home, where she wanted to be. The effects of the illness made mum particularly vulnerable as she lost not only her mobility but also the ability to communicate. We felt the safest and most loving environment for her was her home  where she was also able to spend precious time with her first grandchild, born just eight weeks before she died. The care package provided was instrumental in enabling this, and keeping mum as well as she could be whilst suffering from this devastating disease: we would like to express thanks to Gillian H and her manager Nicky P for their support with this.

We would also like to emphasise the excellent care provided by Bluebird Care, who put together a team of carers who understood mum and her condition, and treated her with dignity, kindness and warmth and we are sure helped to minimise her fear. I don't think we will ever forget the wonderful care shown by them to mum.

I am wishing with regard to the Palliative care which was provided for my Dad, Mr. John Collins. We are so thankful to all your wonderful staff who looked after our dad, but would like to mention in particular Hannah & Mohammed who were involved in his care from 26th February to 19th March this year.

My father had been a completely independent, vibrant and fit man who was still working. He had never had to stay in a hospital even though he was 80 years of age.

However, in late December he became ill and unfortunately we lost our Dad on 23rd March. As you can imagine it was a traumatic time for him and it is in those times you remember the people who played a big part in easing the pain and stress, not only for my Dad but for the whole family.

Hannah and Mo entered our lives at the most sensitive and raw point could imagine. But their wonderful care, their kindness and complete attention to my father's needs helped him on his last journey.

It is a revelation to me that there are wonderful people like Hannah and Mo who bring not only their skills but their hearts and give something of themselves to ease someone else suffering.

I just want to thanks them from the bottom of my heart for how wonderful they were to my Dad. We couldn't have asked for any more. They are truly employees to treasure.
