We provide a flexible range of services for people who need additional support to live safely and confidently in their own homes. That includes people who have serious health problems to those who simply aren’t as mobile as they used to be.
We help customers maintain their lifestyles and give their families the peace of mind that comes from knowing their loved ones are in safe hands. We look after people with all kinds of health conditions
Alzheimer and dementia care
Taking care of people with dementia and Alzheimer’s is a speciality at Bluebird Care Trafford. We understand the anxieties and pressures memory loss puts on dementia sufferers and those close to them.
Other health challenges
We look after people with many other health conditions including stroke, cancer and Parkinson’s Disease. We help people regain their health when they’ve been in hospital. We support people with chronic conditions and life-limiting illnesses. We take care of people who are terminally ill.
Bluebird Care Trafford is a credit to the caring profession and, believe me, that is quite something nowadays. Looking into further care for Mum has been an eye opener. Thanks for providing such a super service. Mum and I are very pleased.
J.K., Bluebird Care Trafford customer.
A care plan designed for you
Your needs and wishes are unique. So is the care plan we create for you. We start by listening to you (and your family if necessary) to find out about your lifestyle, your preferences and the daily concerns you face. Then we tailor-make a care plan to fit you exactly.
Our support ranges from short 15 minute visits up to 24-hour live-in care. We can be with you as often as you want. As your needs change, so does your care plan to ensure you have the support you need to remain in the home you love.
We can help with...
- Starting the day – getting up, bathing or showering, getting dressed and having breakfast.
- Shopping. We take customers out shopping or agree a shopping list and shop for them. We even put everything away when we get back.
- Making meals and drinks.
- Reminders when medication is due.
- Cleaning, laundry and ironing - on a regular basis or as a spring-clean.
- Respite care to give family members some time to themselves.
- Pampering sessions – a bath, clean clothes, fresh linen on the bed and a tasty meal.
- Ending the day – getting ready for bed.
- Overnight care – a ‘sleeping night’ service with a carer on hand in case of emergencies or ‘waking night’ care with a carer on duty throughout the night.
