24 February - Local MP helps launch new Sutton office

Bluebird Care, the UK’s leading provider of care at home has opened a new office in Sutton.  The office will provide tailor made care in the home visits to customers and their families in the Sutton, Cheam, Carshalton and South Beddington areas and intends to create at least 30 jobs by the end of the year.

Celebrating the new office, the Bluebird Care team gathered in Sutton town centre on 24 February to hand out leaflets and balloons and talk to potential customers, joined by MP for Sutton, Cheam and Worcester Park, Paul Burstow; who is also Minister of State for Care Services.

Speaking on the launch of the new care at home service in the local area, Paul Burstow, MP, stated, ‘I’m delighted to join the Bluebird Care team as they launch their new care business.  I take a keen interest in making a difference to health and social care services and the people that use them.  Care at home gives people the opportunity to remain in the comfort of their own home and retain their independence.  I wish Bluebird Care all success in their new venture’.

The new Sutton office is owned and operated by husband and wife team Paul and Kate Barry.  Speaking of the new launch in Sutton, Paul Barry said, ‘We’ve been involved in Bluebird Care for two years now.  This is our fourth office, as we already have successful offices providing care at home in Epsom and Kingston, Chichester and Reigate.  Since we started, we’ve created over 130 jobs for local people and won two awards for the quality of our services’. ‘We aim to create an additional 40 jobs in the Sutton area during 2012’.

Bluebird Care provides care visits at home ranging from 15 minutes through to comprehensive live in care, with a visit from an experienced care supervisor before the care starts.  This gives each customer the opportunity to discuss their requirements and to create a personalised care plan.

27 January 2012 - new Sutton office opens in February

Bluebird Care expects to open its latest in Sutton on 20th February 2012.
