Bluebird Care (Southend & Rochford) is a leading home care and live in care agency.

Home Care Service Area

Bluebird Care (Southend & Rochford) opened in early July 2013. From our offices based on the London Road (opposite Chalkwell Park) we provide care at home through the whole of Southend-on-Sea and Rochford local authority areas including Leigh-on-Sea, Thorpe Bay, Rayleigh, Hockley and Shoeburyness.

What we do

At Bluebird Care (Southend & Rochford) we pride ourselves on being a high quality, professional modern care service delivering a wide range of personal support services to the community for people of all ages and with very diverse needs. We are an integral part of our community - building strong relationships with all of our stakeholders including GPs, social service professionals and other support agencies.

A flexible service – the care you need in the home you love

Most people want to remain in their own home regardless of their age or disability. Here at Bluebird Care (Southend & Rochford) we offer you a realistic alternative to care homes, giving you the confidence to remain in your own surroundings with friends and relatives around you.

Our Care Workers can provide support and assistance which enable you to continue with simple pleasures such as walking along the seafront, going to the shops or just spending time in the garden.  In addition to these traditional care visits we can also provide Care Workers for sleep-ins and live-in care if required.  We strive to maintain the highest standards and offer our customers a friendly service and the personal touch of a small local company with the backing of a large one.

Our Care Manager will work with you and your loved ones to put together a tailored care plan. There is no upper limit on time available, but, in reality, most of our care visits are something between 30 minutes and one hour long.  We offer total flexibility and your care plan can be altered to meet your needs at any time.  Some of the services we offer include:

  • Care assistance & hygiene – helping you to look your best in the morning!
  • Domestic support services, for example cleaning or cooking
  • Companionship
  • Visits and socializing, for example supporting you to go to appointments or to socialize with friends
  • Specialized care for dementia and Parkinson’s
  • Physical disabilities
  • Learning disabilities
  • End of life care
  • Respite for people that are a primary carer of a family member or friend
  • Waking night and sleep-in services
  • Live-in care
  • In fact nearly anything that is required to help people stay safe and independent

A few extracts from one very satisfied family:

Bluebird Care arrive when they say they will.”

The care is kind, individual, dignified and compassionate viewing mum and dad as the married couple they are and treating them accordingly either alone or together......whatever their wish.”

My mums personal care is absolutely fantastic…[your care workers] have taken the time to learn preferences , styles and habits listening so carefully to stories, feelings and worries.”

My sister and I work WITH Bluebird Care, and they with us, and therefore for the first time in years we are able to relax.”

This letter comes to say thank you Bluebird for giving our family their faith, their hope and more time to be together as a family. I will not hesitate to recommend you and have already.”

The highlight of our recent open day had to be a visit from local MP, David Amess, Member of Parliament for Southend West.
