What we do

Our aim is to provide a better level of Home Care to people who need help and support to enable them to stay in their own home. Our reputation is good and we get most of our new customers from referrals. We care passionately about delivering a high standard of Home Care. Dignity, Respect and Independence are important words to us. We employ professional people and train them well.

November 2011  - Carer of the Year

Jane Morgan, a member of the care staff at Bluebird Care (Shropshire) has won the Shropshire Partners in Care (SPIC ) award for Domiciliary Carer of the Year.  SPIC are the local organisation covering all aspects of care for Shropshire Council and Telford & Wrekin Unitary Authority.  Each year they hold an Awards Dinner with a number of awards presented. We are pleased that Jane won one of the top awards. Congratulations Jane! 

September 2011  - The Shropshire Lads on Safari

Ian Barnes, Director of Bluebird Care Shropshire is leading an expedition across Europe starting out from the Bluebird Care offices on 14th September 2011. Ian and three friends have bought an old Volvo and entered a “Banger Rally” to travel to Prague and back via France, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic and into Amsterdam (Holland) before returning home. Their theme is “The Shropshire Lads on Safari”.  The car has been themed and the four of them will be dressed as explorers, Indiana Jones style! It is all in a good cause as they are raising funds for “The Mouth Cancer Foundation” - a charity that is very special to them.

August 2010 -  New fuel efficient care for Bluebird Care (Shropshire)

Bluebird Care Car Shropshire) now has a fuel efficient Citroen C1 complete with smart Bluebird Care livery/branding.  The car has been bought with financial support from the Shropshire Council Enterprise Fund and is intended to make easier to call on isolated rural customers.  The car is now in use providing home care on a daily basis and can be seen on the roads of Shropshire from 7.00am until 10.00pm - 7 days a week.  Retro converted to run on Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) the car achieves the equivalent of over 120 miles per gallon (MPG) and with Road Tax at just £10 per year it is very economical to run.

October 2009 - Bluebird Care Shropshire wins prestigious Award

Ian Barnes and his team were awarded the Bluebird Care "Newcomer of the Year Award" for 2009. 'This is a highly sought after award' said Ian Barnes, Director of Bluebird Care Shropshire.  'The team is really pleased to have won'.
