Home Care Service Area

We are located in a small market town of Lutterworth in the Heart of England. The areas we cover the are Rugby, Dunchurch & Cawston, Brinklow & Wolvey, Lutterworth, Blaby, up to Leicester Forest plus many South Leicestershire rural villages, from town centre locations through to isolated farms.

 What we do

A dedicated professional and friendly team of  care workers provide Personal Care and Specialist Care Dementia Care, Respite Care, Palliative Care and re-enablement. Our care plans reflect a very personal approach working with customer to provide a much tailored service. We always work with family and friends, offering a service to support the whole family. Communication and reassurance is vital for the customer to receive  the very best. All daily tasks which elderly customers can no longer do are looked at as well as a detailed plan for personal care. Risk assessments are regularly carried out as the needs of the customer changes. Social visits are often undertaken especially when a customer lives on their own. Respite time for relatives to give them a break, or a special outing can also be arranged plus the following

• Support with Doctors or Hospital appointments
• Getting up
• Administering medication
• Personal care
• Preparing meals
• Shopping
• Washing, ironing and cleaning
• Putting to bed.

We work with Private customers, Social Services (Warwickshire & Leicestershire), Continuing Health Care, Hospitals, and Mental Health. The quality is of the same consistently high standard. We take great pride in offering a good old-fashioned service that is both flexible and personally tailored to your requirements. We are full members of the United Kingdom Home Care Association (UKHCA), and fully registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We also provide home care services to Warwickshire & Leicestershire County Councils

Our team of care workers

We employ the right people, and give them a comprehensive on-going training program. We monitor them closely and listen to their feedback. We try our best to employ people who are naturally thoughtful and caring and who wish to develop, learn and progress. On 2012 CQC (Care Quality Commission) inspection several members of staff were spoken to, with the following quotes:

Autumn 2011

Bluebird Care (Rugby and South Leicestershire) achieved and became a finalist in the 'Dignity of Care' category in ‘The Great British Care Awards’ Autumn 2011, a testament to our high standards of care and customer service,  demonstrating just what a dedicated team we are, and I cannot say just how proud I am of my team of care workers.
