Head Office
Bluebird Care network
Petersfield was the first-ever Bluebird Care office and opened in 2004. An acknowledged centre of excellence, this business occupies space within the Head Office building in Charles House, Petersfield and is owned and operated by the company’s founders Paul and Lisa Tarsey. The company provides care from Petersfield and Liss areas in the north of their region, to Waterlooville and Havant in the south. All aspects of care are available and a wide range of different customers receive a high quality service from this office.
Las Tarsey said,
We have always had the belief that 'Good Old Fashioned Service' is the key and we have proved this time and time again. Although the Bluebird Care network covers much of the United Kingdom and Ireland I still have a soft spot for the Petersfield operation because it was the first.
We know that there will be an increasing demand for people to want more than just personal care, although this will always be the cornerstone of what we do. However, increasingly, we are being asked to provide other services to assist people with living full lives in the community, for example, by accompanying them on vists to the shops, into the country and beyond. We even took one of our customers on a trip from Hampshire up to the London Eye! We had to make special arrangements for his wheelchair and for the transport to and from London, but it was not only a great experience but also a huge success for the team.
Bluebird Care Petersfield is also a provider of live-in care, a realistic alternative to residential care for many people. Lisa continues;
A lot of people are reluctant to leave the familiar surroundings and security of their own home to go into residential care and, quite frankly, many people don't need to. They can have a live-in carer to help them through the day and to be there at night. It isn't a situation which works for everyone but for very many people it is the ideal answer.
