Bluebird Care in the Lewes District extends inland from the Channel coast over the South Downs and into the Sussex Weald covering 292 square kilometres. Lewes District is formed of 21 wards with a rural population as well as communities who live in the four main urban areas of Seaford, Newhaven, Peacehaven & Telscombe and Lewes.

What we do

The Bluebird Care (Lewes) office opened in mid May 2011 following a highly successful inspection from the Care Quality Commission. The Lewes office, based on Denton Island, Newhaven, is part of a network of over 130 Bluebird Care offices across the UK.

Bluebird Care is the market leader of home care in the UK and prides itself on doing things differently by providing "Good Old Fashioned Service.".   We deliver our home care service between the hours of 7am to 10pm. We offer a night sleeper service and full time live-in services for low and higher dependency customers. Our aim is to support independent living, to help people live as active a life as possible and to enjoy the comfort of their home for as long as they are able.   In order to achieve this we are careful to bespoke home care packages, and to match our Care Workers, to reflect the needs of each customer.

Our home care packages are highly personalised.  We listen to our customers and appreciate that they are free to choose their provider of care. We delight in being a provider of choice.

• Domestic chores; including cleaning and ironing
• Preparing meals
• Shopping, Socialising, Days out
• Sitting services
• Medication prompting and administration
