Some of our customer testimonials:
We would like to thank you and all the carers from Bluebird Care who looked after our beloved Mother for the dedication with which they cared for her and attended to her needs. It was of great support to us in ensuring that she was well looked after and suffered as little as possible in her old age.
We wish Bluebird Care all the best for the year ahead."
I am very happy with the care and the careworker being provided by Bluebird." Mrs H
We and Helen wish to express our very sincere thanks to you and especially the "in house" carers. All, without exception served JJ with friendship and kind supportive care service which certainly reinforced the Bluebird care philosophy as – “a small organisation which prides itself to respect and treat customers in a way that we and our relatives would expect and wish to be treated"
Maintaining that standard is a considerable achievement and congratulations to you all. With our sincere good wishes."
Once again we thank you for attending the aboves sad occassion last Friday. the close family could not believe that a care company would attend one of their clients funeral."
I am sorry I do not have the name of the person I need to address this to. Firstly I would like to say a big thank you to you and your carers who are doing such a fantastic job looking after my relative Mrs J W. I have found everyone I dealt with so helpful and kind and her carers including Ruth go ‘that extra mile’. I would always endorse your company.”
When my father's health and mobility became a problem, he decided he needed extra help to enable him to stay in his own home. This is when he was introduced to Ken, one of the Bluebird Care care team from Harrow. It soon became obvious to us that Dad and Ken had developed a true friendship. Dad always looked forward to Ken's daily visits, nothing was too much trouble, he would do absolutely anything that was asked of him. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ken, as a family we are so pleased he became Dad's carer and friend.
I would particularly like to commend Anjie, my mother’s principal carer, who has shown on many occasions that she has a most caring heart. There have been numerous times that Anjie has shown care and compassion beyond the call of duty. I am very pleased with the service she has provided, particularly as my mother is not always easy to care for.
I would like to comment on the standard of care my uncle has received. We are very pleased with all aspects of the care given. The staff are always pleasant and kindly towards my uncle. He has grown to consider them his friends. The carers are reliable and punctual and I am unable to fault them in their professional dealings with a 95 year old gentleman.
At this time I would like to take the opportunity to offer our heartfelt thanks to you and your team for the care you have provided over the past few years. I know that all of your carers have acted, at all times in my mother’s best interests.
However, I would like, in particular, to offer our particular thanks to both Angie and Rama. Both Angie and Rama saw my mother on most days of the week and I know that she particularly enjoyed their visits and new that she was well taken care of by them. She both liked them immensely, trusted them and had grown quite close to them.
Both myself and my brother and our family are immensely grateful for the service that you have provided."

Care workers at Bluebird Care (Harrow) have been given a boost today after the company was announced as the winner of a top training award for its innovative e-learning scheme for care workers.
Bluebird Care, one of the UK’s leading care at home providers, has won the Skillsoft Inspire Award for its new e-learning training programme for care workers, which trains staff in a variety of areas including the dementia, infection control and customer care policies of Bluebird Care (Harrow) which go above and beyond the regulatory standards and requirements. Mobile solution for our Care Workers
Bluebird Care (Harrow) are the first to introduce the new efficient and effective iconnect device to their care workers.
It can be described real-time mobile monitoring solution that has been designed to better the compliance and improve the quality of care within the providers. We have informed, trained and distributed these iConnect phones to 70 of our care workers.
iConnect is an easy to understand revolutionary resolution for the intention of providing respectable care for our service users. This device offers excellent advantages, as it acts as evidence to prove that the service has been delivered, recording the actual start times and finish times. Care workers being trained to swipe past the tag once they enter and just before they depart, saves the use of timesheets, allowing there to be accurate invoice and payroll processing.
(NFC) Near Field Communication technology iConnect has been established to effectively mend compliance. The specifications are:
Care workers weekly rosters are available for viewing with time and full name. Details of tasks to be completed and access codes are also automatically available for viewing. If there are any updates, it flags up for the care worker to check for any extra visits, making it easier for us at the office to allocate extra/emergency visits on the go.
There are RFID tags placed with each care workers ID badge and one inside the service user’s open. The purpose of this tag, allows care workers to touch in and out as soon as their visit is complete, recording the length of each visit. This also eliminates the paper weekly rosters they used to carry with them and will no longer have to hassle the service users to get the timesheets signed for prove of attendance. This reduces the paper, printing and postage costs. Care workers are also able to contact other care workers with the same iConnect device in case they are meeting up for a double up visit.
The iConnect phones are incorporated with our StaffPlan roster at the office, where we are able to view actual delivery information, notifying us what time the care worker has arrived or if they are running late, which will give us a chance to inform our service users and giving them the reassurance they need.
The benefits to customers of iConnect include improved visibility around care worker appointments. If care workers are running late, for example, the customers and their families will be able to be notified in a timelier manner, providing reassurance. In addition, the stress surrounding asking a customer to sign a proof of attendance document will be eliminated.

We are happy to say that we are regular supporters of the Ashiana Charitable Trust. For those who aren't familiar with them, they work very hard to support and empower young people and children with learning disabilities.
On Sunday 28th October, we organised a dinner and dance for them in the celebration of Diwali. The event was a huge success and we were honoured to have the Mayor of Harrow as one of many attendees.
