Bluebird Care Bury covers the whole of the Bury Council area together with neighbouring areas in Heywood, Little Lever and Middleton.

What We Do

Bluebird Care Bury provides support in your own home for all ages from children to adults, delivered by suitably qualified and experienced staff.

• Help with meal preparation, cleaning, ironing, personal hygiene etc
• Escort service e.g. to the doctor and hospital appointments
• Supporting social activities e.g. attending keep fit classes, shopping, lunches, local attractions
• Extended visits / Sitting service
• Overnight stays

We want you to do as much as you possibly can for yourself so that you retain your independence. We will do whatever we can do safely to support your aims and objectives and build your confidence to achieve them. We provide care however it is defined. Our minimum visit to achieve this objective is 15 minutes, although most visits are around 1 hour in length; but the care programme is designed to match your needs and will always be agreed with you before we start to work and changed if it does not meet your needs. We also plan the care programme to provide continuity of Care Worker who visits you to build a strong relationship. If needed, we are available on the telephone 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
