About Bluebird Care Sevenoaks
We believe passionately in preserving independence and improving the quality of life of vulnerable people by offering sustainable solutions to some of the problems often associated with frailty, lone-living and isolation. We provide a range of Homecare services which help older people, those with physical or learning disabilities, dementia, mental health and neurological conditions, as well as other vulnerable adults, to live independent lives in the comfort and safety of their own home, surrounded by the things that matter to them and the memories they cherish, and where important social networks can be preserved.
Our alternative to residential care is a “high-end” Domiciliary Care service for those who do not want to compromise when it comes to the quality of the Care that they, or their relatives, receive. Indeed, we aim to provide the same standard of Care that we would expect for our own relatives.
Bluebird Care was established over 10 years ago and now has a national reach with over 200 offices, though each is owned independently and operated locally. Bluebird Care Sevenoaks is one of three Bluebird Care Franchises owned and operated by Steve Davie and his eldest son Ben (see Our Leadership page), who have lived in Kent for over 30 years. Their Sevenoaks office opened its doors in late 2011; it was a finalist in the organisation's "Franchise of the Year” award for 2015 and is widely regarded as the private Homecare provider of choice in the area, a reputation it shares with its sister business in Bromley, which won “Franchise of the Year” for 2014. Together they currently provide over 3,000 weekly visits to over 300 residents. In 2015, Steve and Ben took on a third franchise covering Lewisham and Southwark, both neighbouring Bromley in South East London.
When we speak to our customers and their families about their experience of using our service, the feedback we receive frequently refers to the positive impact that the service has had on their, or their relatives’, physical and emotional wellbeing, and how the anxiety and pressure felt by family, friends and neighbours has eased and been replaced with peace of mind.
We want to say a huge thank you to all of you for taking such good care of our Father. All the carers were kind, generous and patient and the service you provided us with was very professional. We feel you made a huge difference to a poorly man who was struggling on a daily basis..." - Mrs JB, Kent
Just to say thank you all for looking after Mum so well over the past 2 & 1/2 years, it's been very reassuring to know you were always there to help, especially through the really tough times..." - Mr RD, Essex
We achieve this by treating our customers and our staff with dignity and respect and placing their needs at the heart of everything that we do. We take our obligations – both as a Care Provider and as an Employer – extremely seriously; we never take anyone for granted and always strive to do the very best we can to ensure that they are happy with the service and support that they receive.
