Learning disabilities care
The care we provide for people with learning disabilities is tailored to each individual’s needs. Bluebird Care does not believe in ‘one size fits all’.
We start by talking not only to our customer but also to any advocates or stakeholders such as family members and healthcare professionals. While our professional experience is paramount, and we advise accordingly, we will always consider the personal wishes of our customer and put those first.
Flexible Care
Our care can be wide ranging and flexible, from personal care through to support in leading an independent life. This can include a trip into town for shopping, meeting friends, or pursuing a favourite sport or hobby. It depends on customer requirements plus a considered approach to available facilities in the area. We can also offer a live-in care service. Specialist Care
Our care workers are highly trained, with extensive practical experience across many different areas of learning disability. These include behaviours that challenge, autistic spectrum disorders, complex health needs, physical disabilities and sensory impairment.
