A really lovely commendation
May I thank you all at Bluebird Care for everything that you did to enable my father to live independently for as long as practically possible. The dedication of your carers is admirable and the family are so grateful for all that you did to help make the final months of his life happy and as independent as possible. Please send our special thanks and appreciation to all the carers who visited him.

Please see this lovely commendation for one of our New Recruits from one of our Long Standing Carers. Well done Phoebe!
Telephone call with JC,
She wanted to say how pleased she is with her care worker Kerry D, she has brilliant common sense, a huge amount of empathy and is very encouraging, she appreciates her very very much. She also said that Chelsea D is also lovely and has a very friendly face.
"I'm really happy that I have passed my probation period. I can't wait to continue working with bluebird care as through this period they have all been very helpful and I have learnt a lot through working with bluebird and I am excited to continue learning and gain more experience now I have passed."

Further to our conversation last week, and also on behalf of my brothers Graeme and Robert, I would like to thank Rachel for the time she spent with our Mum, EB.
We all live some distance from Platters Farm Care Home so Rachel taking Mum out from the home twice a week for companionship really helped supplement our visits.
Mum appreciated the company of a younger person, while getting a break from the home, and it enabled Mum to slowly start rebuilding her confidence and have someone to chat to. Mum was self-loathing when Rachel first met her and it must have been very difficult for Rachel to keep the conversation going at the start. However, over time, Mum improved and we are very grateful to Rachel for her care and patience in helping this happen. Mum was in a much better place mentally just before she succumbed to the Covid virus, and we are very grateful to Rachel for her part in this.
