    Reverse Bungee Jumping in Manchester

Care Manager, Julia and Care Worker, Ahlmas from Bluebird Care (Manchester South) both took part in a reverse bungee jump to raise money for The Christie Hospital in Manchester.

Julia and Ahlmas were strapped into a metal capsule and then catapulted 200ft into the air where they bounced and span around until being safely returned back to earth. Julia enjoyed it so much that she even went back for another go!

When asked what had prompted the reverse bungee, Julia said -

My Mum has fought cancer for the last forty years and just before Christmas was diagnosed with Leukemia, I wanted to be able to show my support to the Christie for all the help they have given her"

Director of Bluebird Care (Manchester South), Rizwana Raffi said -

We wanted to give something back to the community and thought that this would be the ideal way to raise money for such a fantastic cause."

Between the 2 of them, Julia and Ahlmas raised an impressive £250 for The Christie Hospital so well done to both of them!
