Bluebird Care Directors
Paul Tarsey, Managing Director
Paul Tarsey has worked within the care industry for twenty years. With a clear understanding of how the care market has changed significantly in recent decades, he states:
Twenty years ago, you needed virtually no experience or qualification to run a care agency. That lack of professionalism and risky approach is what spurred me on to strive for high quality in the care industry. When people start to look for care at home for a loved one or for themselves they need clear and direct communications and a system which makes starting up a care package as simple and straightforward as possible. This is the approach which we’ve taken in Bluebird Care and it has proved to be a fundamental part of our success.
Lisa Tarsey, Director
Lisa brings extensive experience to the role, with responsibility for finance and recruitment. Lisa states:
The way we deliver care is critically important, and this is a very people orientated business. All staff need to bring a winning combination of the right temperament and attitude. We then train, monitor and supervise our staff closely and effectively. What is important is that we will only deliver the level of care that we would expect for our own vulnerable friends or relatives. That’s the standard we set for ourselves and our customers.
Simon Dalziel, Franchise Director
Simon’s background includes ten years as an officer in the Royal Navy working in postings across the world, together with several sales and marketing consultancy roles.
He first worked in the franchise sector in 1989 and has since held a number of senior positions with franchisor companies, recruiting franchise owners and managing large franchise networks. Simon met Paul Tarsey some 14 years ago when they both worked for a large care franchise and have remained good friends ever since.
Their working paths crossed again in 2005. Paul had set up Bluebird Care in 2004 and was considering a franchise strategy for the business. Simon stepped in and started to work with Bluebird Care in 2005, using his extensive knowledge of franchise recruitment, network management and operational planning. Joining the business full time from June 2006 when the franchise opportunity was launched, Simon has helped successfully steer the franchise business, which has seen growth to over 100 Bluebird Care franchise owners across the UK and Republic of Ireland. Simon adds,
Bluebird Care’s growth has been exceptional, due to the success achieved by our Franchise Owners. Their continued development combined with the exciting pace of the franchise sector still continues to inspire me. My objectives are to maintain Bluebird Care’s leading market position by continuing to expand the number of Franchise Owners and building brand awareness.
