Home Care Service Area
Bluebird Care (Lambeth) offer their care services to residents of the Borough of Lambeth. If you pay your council tax to Lambeth Council, then we can provide you with our services.
How we can help you
Bluebird Care (Lambeth) strongly believe in “Good Old Fashioned Service” and we instil this in our day to day activities. We are proud of our work ethic which is to provide our customers with the type of care that we would expect to have ourselves.
We understand that looking for care for a loved one is overwhelming, especially if it the first time. We make this process easy for you. We listen to your needs and deliver, it is really as simple as that.
Not only do we provide high quality and tailormade care in the comfort of our customers own home, we also provide excellent, open and honest advise to all our customers.
Bluebird Care Services
We provide a range of high quality services that encourage our customers to live independently. Our services include, personal care, light domestic work, day trips, assisted medication, companionship, shopping and help with getting in and out of bed.
We have a team of highly dedicated and experienced Live-In Care Workers who can provide constant care services for our customers at home. This service benefits people who are vulnerable or housebound. Our Live-In staff are fully vetted and under-go regular supervisions to ensure a continued level of high quality care is being delivered to our customers. We also take care of their PAYE, National Insurance, employers insurance and their holiday pay so you do not need to worry about anything.
Day Care Visits
Our day care visits are tailor-made for each customer. The length of visits depend on their individual needs and demands and can last from 15 minute visits, hourly visits or an overnight stay.
We have a team of dedicated and highly trained staff who are able to provide support and assistance to people who have dementia and to their families. We continually train our staff to establish better and simpler ways of working with people who have dementia. We strive to promote their independence and work hand in hand with their families to provide the best care for them.
We understand the importance of having regular and unfaltering care, especially for people with dementia and/or older people, so we strive to provide a “one face” strategy, whereby each customer has a regular care worker that will visit them. We make sure our customers are acquainted with their care workers before their care visits start.
Our staff are fully vetted and have to pass our Bluebird Care training program before they are able to start working. They are regularly supervised and spot checked, which not only enables us to monitor their progress and care delivery, it also allows us to establish how you are feeling with the care they are providing.
Care Quality Commission
Our services and our staff have been highly praised by the Care Quality Commission in their recent routine unannounced inspection. You can view the report on the link provided.
August 2013 - Lambeth Country show
It was great seeing all of you at the Lambeth Country show! Thank you to all of you who took time out to visit our stand! We gave away over 400 leaflets over the two days and spoke to just under 60 people who were interested in our services!
It was a truly enjoyable two days! The weather was perfect (although a little windy) and the sun was out which attracted a lot of people on both days making the Lambeth Country Show as successful as ever!
We met some wonderful people; we otherwise would not have been able to and are happy to have been part of the Lambeth Country Show 2013. We are in the process of working with all of you who took interest in us, once again thank you!

We will have a stand at the show, where people can come and talk to us to find out more about Bluebird Care and what we can offer or just ask for some advice. We will also have a free Henna Decorating Stand for those ladies who would like Henna designs on their hands.
We hope to see you all there!

Over 30 Hats Made For The Big Knit!
Bluebird Care (Lambeth) recently worked together with Age UK and Innocent Drinks fruit juices for the Big Knit.
This is where we had to knit tiny hats for Innocent and they use those hats for their juice bottles over the winter. A percentage of the proceeds goes to Age UK for their work to enable as many elderly people in our community to stay warm during the winter. Our team in Bluebird Care (Lambeth) collectively made over 30 hats! We intend to make more next year!

Charity Fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Society
Our team at Bluebird Care (Lambeth) raised money for the Alzheimer’s Society by holding a bucket collection.
We raised over £150 in the course of 4 hours! Not bad!
We also took our customers out to a trip around Lambeth, where we took them to the Dulwich Art Gallery and they had a picnic in Dulwich park.
They had a superb time! We have planned another day trip to see the Christmas lights from lambeth bridge across London in December 2014.
