The Topsham to Turf Ferryman’s Swim has been an annual event in Devon since its revival in 2005, with over 120 swimmers last year braving the one-and-a-half mile breadth of water from Topsham to Turf Locks. Bluebird Care Exeter & East Devon are proud to be again sponsoring this brilliant event.
Bluebird Care Exeter & East Devon are really pleased to be again sponsoring this fantastic annual event organised by the Estuary League of Friends in Topsham.
The Topsham to Turf Ferryman’s Swim has been an annual event in Devon since its revival in 2005, with over 120 swimmers last year braving the one-and-a-half mile breadth of water from Topsham to Turf Locks.
Last year, swimmers raised over £10,000 for the Estuary League of Friends charity which does such a fantastic job in supporting their local community.
This year the swim will take place on Saturday August 22nd, with the starting ribbon being cut at 11.00am.
The good news is that there are still spaces available but there isn't much time left to get your application form in!! The application closing date is Wednesday 19th August at 5pm.
To register just download the entry form from - Swim entry form 2015 and then email it to Rachel at the Estuary League of Friends on Rachel.Estuary@virgin.net.
Alternatively you can collect an entry form from one of the Estuary League of Friends Charity shops in Topsham Fore Street.
