Meet the team

Frankie Rowe

Head of Care

Frankie joined Bluebird Care Exeter in 2012 as a care assistant before undertaking senior roles within the company supporting the Exeter and East Devon hubs.

In 2016, Frankie opened the Exmouth hub and has since achieved successes including an Outstanding CQC inspection, Gold award for Outstanding Deputy in Devon & Cornwall’s Outstanding care awards and Best Fitness/ Health/ Wellbeing provider of the year with Exmouth Chamber awards 2019. Frankie gained Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management in health and social care and her Managers Registration in 2018

Frankie works closely with her team to ensure her care team and customers are supported and Policies and Procedures are met through quality assurance.

Sandi Sherman

Manager, Exeter and Exmouth

Sandi joined Bluebird Care Exmouth in 2016 relocating from Bluebird Care in Exmouth and holding a Level 3 diploma in Health and social care.

She is now our Manager for Exmouth and Exeter.

Dennis Reed

Lead Co-ordinator

Dennis joined Bluebird Care in November 2022, already having lots of experience working in care, Dennis brings a wealth of knowledge, particularly around coordinating care visits. Dennis also has experience of using a system similar to our new system launching in January 2023. Dennis has already taken the opportunity to come out and meet customers and staff as he sees this as a huge part of understanding how to maximise everyone’s experiences, whether a customer receiving care or a staff member delivering care.

Currently Dennis is living in Torquay and has a pet snake.

Stephen Helme

Exeter Coordinator

Stephen joined as our Exeter Coordinator in 2023.

Kate Bennett

Field Supervisior

Kate joined Bluebird care in 2022 as field Supervisor with 35 years experience in the health and social care sector. She is NVQ4 qualified, has experience as a Registered Manager and has worked for another Bluebird Care previously before she relocated to Devon. Kate loves working in care because she enjoys meeting people and is an advocate for person centred care. In Kates role, she is responsible for supporting the care team and meeting and supporting new and existing customers with their changing care needs.

In Kates spare time, she enjoys getting on her Vespa to attend scooter rallies, live music and spending time with her Grandson.

Sarah Bennett

Field Care Supervisor

Sarah joined as Field Care Supervisor in 2023.
