Bluebird Care Cheshire East Care Coordinator signs up for world's fastest zipwire

Care Coordinator Francesca Wrigley has signed up to take part in Europe's highest zipwire.

Care Coordinator Francesca Wrigley is “taking to the skies” on September 17th  to take part in Europe’s highest and the world’s fastest zipwire in Bethesda, Wales.

The zipwire has been described as “the closest thing to flying”, it is 500 feet high and reaches speeds of  up to 100mph!

Fran’s passion for animal welfare is what is driving her to take this major adrenaline rush off the top of a very high peak - athough we can’t quite decide if she’s brave or foolish!

Director of Bluebird Care Cheshire East, Joanna Lee, commented:

We are delighted to add our sponsorship to that already gained by Fran for her favourite Blue Cross charity for animal welfare. Her mum Gail has also pledged to take the zipwire challenge! Good job neither of them have a fear of heights!"

We will provide another update once the event has taken place, good luck to Fran and Gail!
