Nicola Milborn
Supervisor

I joined Bluebird Care in 2012.  When I first joined the company I was ‘new to care.’ Initially I didn’t know if this was going to be a career for me or not.  But, after a few weeks supporting people, it gave me great satisfaction to know I am helping people to stay in their own homes. Bringing a smile to people every day is a great pleasure.

Bluebird Care have been very supportive throughout my time with them and they have given me the opportunity to grow within the business. In 2017 I completed an NVQ level 3 in Health and Social care and in early 2017, I was promoted to ‘Supervisor’ which gives me the opportunity to continue my personal development and learn more.

Stephen McCoy
Director

Stephen spent many years working globally for an international engineering group.  He supported his Father who received care at home.  The ‘girls’ who supported his father were great but the administration behind them was absolutely terrible ….the girls were always under pressure to ‘get-in-and-get-out,’ never had any travel time, never on time, were unsure of their work requirements tomorrow and were always rushing to and from their office to collect updated rosters or submit signature sheets / mileage claims Etc.

Stephen passionately believes everyone deserves great care and support and shortly after his Father sadly passed away he joined the Bluebird Care network, who share these beliefs. Together, in November 2011, they started Bluebird Care in Central Bedfordshire

Stephen believes in using the latest technology and equipment to support the team, make their life easier and enable them to devote quality time with our customers

Stephen is married to Alison (one of our Coordinators) together they have 3 children and a dog

Alison McCoy
Coordinator

Alison helped Stephen to support his Father and helped the formation of Bluebird Care Central Bedfordshire in 2011

Alison is primarily responsible for ‘next weeks’ roster.
